*Pre-heat your YiXing teapot by filling it with hot water and then draining it.

*Place one tablespoon of loose tea into the preheated YiXing teapot.

*Fill with some hot water and give your tea leavs a wake up rinse (10 seconds.) Pour out rinse water

*Refill your pot with hot water and brew your tea for it's particular brew time.

*Pour into your cup. Remember to keep a finger on the lid so it doesn't slip.

*Rebrew your leaves until the flavor is exausted.

*Leave the lid off to let the tea leaves air and hold their flavor until the next brew. It is okay for the leaves to dry out.

To clean your teapot, simply empty the leaves and rinse the teapot with hot water. The natural properties f the YiXing teapot will absorb the flavor of your tea, so washing it with soap will make your tea TASTE LIKE SOAP! YUCK! so...

Never use soap.

Never heat your teapot on the stove.

Never wash it in the dishwasher.

...Just rinse it out with hot water and let it air dry!
